Listen to their silence

Things will come at you in life, and you'll need special people around you to help face them, so don't get sucked in by the show-offs or the smooth talkers. It's the quiet ones, who watch and listen and care, that you need to look out for. And if you find one, don't ever let them go. Not even when you're afraid of where it might take you, when you're scared of what you really might feel if you let yourself. You have to be brave, because you don't get much time and you don't get many chances to find someone who will respect you, listen to you, and love you completely for who you are.

What Reality is

When you are at the bottom it all seems to suck, being stuck in all the crappy things left behind. Then you start to climb. You always seem to look behind as you get a little higher. You never forget what you once had or what you once went through it all seems to follow you. So you climb higher to see if you can forget what left you behind. But when you make it to the top and the view is great, you relize that no matter how high you got what was at the bottom followed you to the top. It helpped you to the top, pushed you to get away knowing that once you were there at the top, you would know that no matter where you go, the things that matter most are those that pushed you though the things you had at the bottom.
